Raising two boys under five is already a full-time job.
Raising two boys under five while running an online shop and creating content? That’s a whole personality.
Some days feel like a well-oiled machine. Other days feel like a blooper reel that never ends.
When Your Kids Are Also Your “Talent”
There are days when the boys are not interested in modeling clothing for the business. At all.
No smiles. No cooperation. Just one refusing to put on pants and the other dramatically flopping to the floor because the shirt “feels weird.”
And then there are days — magical, rare days — when they both cooperate fully. They smile. They pose. They don’t immediately spill something down the front of the outfit. Those days make me feel like maybe, just maybe, I’ve cracked the code.
(Spoiler: I have not.)
Creating Content With Tiny Humans in the Frame
Trying to film content with two little boys at home is… ambitious.
I’ll set up my phone, hit record, and suddenly someone needs a snack. Or a hug. Or is yelling from the other room because their brother touched their toy. I’ve learned to laugh through the interruptions, because if I waited for perfect silence, nothing would ever get posted.
Behind every “effortless” post is a mom whisper-yelling, negotiating, and promising snacks afterward.
Our Two-Year-Old: Packaging Inspector
Our two-year-old has appointed himself head of packaging quality control. Boxes? Obsessed. Mailers? Best toy ever. Stickers? Immediately stuck to the wrong surface.
While I’m trying to prep orders, he’s unpacking them just as fast. Some days I step back and remind myself: one day, I’ll miss this. Even if right now I’m gently asking him not to sit inside a shipping box I just folded.
The Unexpected Sweet Spots
And then there are the moments that make it all worth it.
When they’re excited about what we’re building. When they want to “help.” When they see themselves in photos and light up. When they both cooperate, laugh together, and the house feels full instead of loud.
Those moments remind me why I chose this path — to build something meaningful and be present for the little moments in between.
Learning to Laugh Through the Chaos
Being a mom influencer and shop owner has taught me to let go of perfection. Some days the content is great. Some days the kids win and nothing gets done. And that’s okay.
This season is messy. It’s loud. It’s unpredictable. But it’s also full of joy, creativity, and connection — even on the days when nothing goes according to plan.
Raising two boys under five while running a business isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about showing up, adapting, and finding humor in the chaos.
And maybe hiding the packaging supplies when necessary.
